Rodney Green, of Willingboro, was convicted by a Cumberland County Jury during a one-week trial that concluded on Friday, Aug. 26.

The jury found Green guilty of second-degree robbery, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb-McRae said.

The charges originated from an incident that occurred on Sept. 29, 2020. Green entered the Rite Aid on 907 North High Street in Millville and demanded money from a cashier, Webb-McRae said. Green threatened to kill the cashier and everyone else in the store if the money was not turned over, she said. A total of $240 was handed to Green.

The investigation was conducted by Millville police.

Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 28.
